French Bulldog Drink Recipe

The French Bulldog has some uncommon ingredients. If you can find all the parts, it’s worth it. This drink is served cold usually in a martini glass but also does well in an old fashioned or “rocks” glass.

  • 1 oz. elderflower syrup
  • 3/4 oz. simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz. crème de cassis
  • 2-3 sage leaves

  1. grab your favorite cocktail shaker and fill with ice
  2. add gin, elderflower syrup, and simple syrup
  3. shake until ice cold
  4. our contents into martini glass
  5. carefully add creme de cassis
  6. garnish with sage leaves

The French bulldog is a small companion breed of dog, related to the English bulldog and American bulldog. The name suggests France as the origin of the breed; however, Americans and British breeders may have played a larger role in the breed’s development. The dogs are commonly called the Frenchie and are nicknamed “clowns” and “frog dogs”.
